I’m Kerry & I started Food for Thought zero waste emporium to help us cut our single-use plastic consumption & tread more consciously on the planet.
How does it work?
A ‘zero waste shop’ is a beautiful place where you can refill on everyday food, cleaning and personal hygiene products with little or no waste. It’s all about reusing so bring your own containers which we weigh, refill then weigh again. So you only pay for what you get whether that's the ingredients for that ambitious recipe you’ve been wanting to try or grub to keep the 5,000 going for another week. Forgot your jars? Never fear, we’ve got jars a plenty for you to use.
New to the concept?
Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a zen, hipster. Myself & my team are here to help you shop more sustainably & have fun in the process.
With a wide range of organic and local products you can rest assured that all the products are of great quality & responsibly sourced. We’ve got everyday items such as local milk and bread plus nuts, cereals, rice, pasta, lentils, beans, rapeseed oil, washing up liquid, cleaning sprays, shampoo & conditioners, loo roll, wild seed gift cards… I could go on! Then there’s our epic snack selection of crisps, Turkish delight, chocolate raisins, chocolate honeycomb. OK this sounds like bragging now!
